Our History
Barden FM provides facilities management services for an extensive Client list whose sites are predominantly located at Travel Hubs; Airports and Railway Stations.
Given this, we have worked hard to ensure we can offer comprehensive Installation, Service and Compliance works in environments that are very process driven in the areas of operation, health and safety and security.
Barden FM is owned by our Managing Director, Stuart Barden. Stuart bought the family business (at the time B Barden Electrical Services Ltd) from his father, Brian, when he retired in 2002.
From 1996 to 2002 the Company serviced WH Smith High Street stores as well as at Heathrow and Gatwick Airports. Stuart moved to focus the Company on airport works; and over the years has added a significant number of other retailers as Clients.
We now work in all the UK airports and have undertaken the required Signatory Status for access and enrolling on the various permit systems. Ensuring that when we say we are going to attend some works, our engineers have access and the correct permits to undertake the tasks involved.
As our clients have grown and taken on additional sites we have followed them with the same positive attitude, and now undertake works at UK Mainline Railway Stations and London Underground Stations.
Recently we have also added London Shopping Centres and a Distribution.com centre to our list of work areas; following the same access and permit approach so that we are in control of delivering Client satisfaction.
